Dr. Aziza Bomani-Bailey

Dr. Aziza Bomani-Bailey, otherwise known as Dr. BB, is a Board Certified Specialist in Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM). After attending medical school at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine she completed her ONMM residency at a Level 2 Trauma Center, St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. Her mentors include Dr. Robert Truax, Dr. Hugh Ettlinger, Dr. Dennis Burke, and Dr. Katrina Rakowsky. Dr. Bomani-Bailey is known across the region as an expert in a variety of conditions across all ages and all stages. Some of the conditions she treats includes chronic pain, pre- and post-partum pain, breast feeding difficulties, headaches/ migraines, arthritis, sciatica, low back pain and neck pain. Her favorite techniques include Balanced Ligamentous Tension, Osteopathy in the Cranial Field, Myofascial Release, and Counterstrain. With her expert knowledge of anatomy and manipulations, she can greatly improve the quality of life and functionality for almost any patient.

Dr. Bomani-Bailey is sensitive to the differing needs of diverse patients, especially in the African, Caribbean, Hispanic, Muslim, and Neurodivergent communities. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently learning Japanese and Korean. In her spare time, Dr. Bomani-Bailey keeps her hands busy with her never-ending crafting journey including knitting, crocheting, sewing, weaving, baking, sourdough making, and dancing. Her clinical interest is to make OMM an equitable service, available to as many historically underserved patients as possible.
